Additional SNARE Tools
In addtion to the SNARE Server and the SNARE Agents, there are a number of complimentary open source products. These products assist with implementation.
SNARE Backlog Server The Snare BackLog is a program that provides a central collection facility for a variety of log sources, including Snare Agents for Windows, Solaris, AIX, Irix, ISA Server, IIS Server, Lotus Notes (and others), plus any device capable of sending data to a syslog server.
It can also be used as a standalone product as the Snare Micro Server is a program that provides a central collection facility for a variety of log sources, including Snare Agents for Windows, Solaris, AIX, Irix, ISA Server, IIS Server, Lotus Notes (and others), plus any device capable of sending data to a syslog server.

SNARE Generator The Snare Generator is a Event Simulator used by InterSect Alliance as part of our normal Snare Server testing process.
Snare Generator is available under the terms of the GNU Public Licence.
